Golden Milk Latte with Almond Milk and Almond Butter Recipe

December 28, 2017 By Marcia Pell Leave a Comment

Treat yourself with a cup of Golden Milk Latte with Almond Milk and Almond Butter, a mood-boosting, energy-enhancing wonder drink.

This latte is perfect as an afternoon spicy pick-me-up or chilled for pre/post exercise drink.

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter

Preparation:

Add almond milk, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger and black pepper to a stovetop pan. Heat on low for 3 minutes until warm. Stir in honey to stovetop pan mixture.

Once stirred, pour into a mug. For added protein and healthy fat, stir almond butter into the hot milk.

To drink while at work or on-the-go, pour the beverage into a microwavable travel mug, reheat in the microwave for 30 seconds until warm.

People are afraid to meet with or speak to a RDN because they are scared to be judged on their current eating habits or lifestyle.
