Many people are looking for diabetic recipes to help manage their blood sugars. I share my favorite sources for recipes here. I'm always searching for healthy recipes myself. It's not necessary to have diabetic recipes, but I, for one, love having recipes to follow. I'm just not good at throwing things together and having them turn out well. While it is perfectly fine to put together simple meals without recipes, by following a balanced meal plan like ChooseMyPlate.gov, here are places to find diabetic recipes that are healthy and good-tasting. The Agony of the Diabetes Dietitian’s Husband

I've learned a lot about giving and getting support with diabetes--some the hard way! February is the month I celebrate my passion for supporting people with diabetes. On Valentine's Day 2014, I decided to start my own business and I vividly remember the loving support I got from my husband, Bob, when I told him. I am also reminded of James, my first husband, who started my journey with diabetes. When I fell in love with James more than 20 years ago, his diabetes was a topic we rarely discussed.
